Life Story

Here is a little blip of my life story. I was born on planet earth on a ship way out at sea. My father started me traveling by throwing me in a truck and touring up and down the west coast. This was my first grade of school. Thrill seeking became my life after that. When I turned sixteen I thought I would get out of trouble by going to Africa. I cruised from the top to the bottom in a big all terrain truck with a crew of people from Europe and Australia. We went through Muslim cities in the desert to jungles filled with monkeys with blue balls. It was an unbelievable adventure, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, swimming in Lake Victoria and seeing the amazing falls. There were so many long skies with all the lions and all of the rest of the wild kingdom of animals.

Once I started traveling I just kept on going, being a rolling stone. I traveled one summer in Europe investigating the old art museums in Paris and Rome. Hanging out in all the bars, cafes and beaches, from Amsterdam to Greece. In America I roamed all around the U.S. in a Dodge van. I then moved back into the punk scene in Portland, Oregon for a while. Then I bounced around even more. I did some living in Santa Barbara, Santa Fe, Austin, Texas and some hanging out for awhile in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Traveling around really kept me wide awake to living in so many different life styles.

Going across the borders again I took a year trip up from New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, India and Nepal. That voyage really showed me all sorts of wild homo sapiens. I saw people sheering sheep, playing rugby, getting intoxicated, confused, playing didgeridoos and even seeing people being cooked on funeral pyres on the Ganges River. I saw a lot of Jesus Lizards and an alligator almost ate me down in Costa Rica. The last long trip I went on was a year in Rhodes, Greece in an old castle where I felt that I landed in some old novel that was written a billion years ago.

Now I’m off the gypsy cruise craft and I am living in Portland. There seems to always be a clown carnival in San Francisco. I’m just oh so happy to be alive and painting after all my wanderings in my body and mind. We wouldn’t be here if there was no earth or other people. We got to love it all with the gorillas in the suits.
